One dead, 24 intoxicated after fire in room at Hospital Clínico de Madrid

A 68-year-old man has died and 24 people had to be treated due to a fire in a room on the fifth floor of the San Carlos Clinical Hospital in Madrid, Spain, Report informs, citing Spanish media.
The fire broke out around 1:00 am on Sunday and its causes are still being investigated, according to a spokesman for the Ministry of Health. The injured, all of a slight nature, have already been discharged. Among them were police officers, center security members, and nursing staff.
In addition, 17 patients had to be transferred due to the fire to other areas of the center “without any incidents and notifying their families”, these same sources have assured.
