Azerbaijan discloses air transport revenue in H12025

Azerbaijan earned 1.98 billion manats ($1.16 billion) from air cargo and passenger transportation in the first half of 2025, according to the State Statistical Committee, Report informs.

This figure represents a 9.6% decrease compared to the same period in 2024.

Cargo transportation brought in 1,108,646,000 manats ($652.14 million), down 13.9% year-on-year. Of this amount, 1,108,113,000 manats ($651.83 million) came from international flights, while revenue from domestic cargo transport dropped by 23.4% to 532,400 manats ($313,176).

Passenger air transport generated 869.4 million manats ($511.4 million), a 3.4% decline from the previous year. International flights accounted for 831.3 million manats ($489 million), with domestic routes contributing 38.1 million manats ($22.4 million).

From January to June 2025, Azerbaijan’s air transport sector carried 187,600 tons of cargo (down 10.5%) and 1.861 million passengers (up 2.6%).
