SOCAR, China's CC7 discuss co-op prospects in oil, petrochemical industry

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) President Rovshan Najaf met with a delegation headed by Long Haiyang, Chairman of the Board of China National Chemical Engineering No.7 Construction Company Limited (CC7), Report informs, citing SOCAR.
During the meeting, information was provided about SOCAR's activities in the energy sector and strategic projects implemented in Azerbaijan and foreign countries. The parties discussed possible cooperation opportunities in the oil and petrochemical industry in Azerbaijan and third countries.
CC7 is a subsidiary of China National Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNCEC), one of China's largest EPC contractors. Founded in 1964 and headquartered in Chengdu, CC7 operates in chemical and non-chemical sectors in Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
