The implementation of the Green Corridor project, which provides for the supply of clean energy from Azerbaijan to Europe, is less important as an economic than as a political announcement, said American analyst and columnist Paul Goble, Report informs.
"It fits in with the EU understanding of itself and one that welcomes Azerbaijan’s commitment," he said.
According to him, natural gas is likely to remain dominant for some time to come:
"As you know, natural gas is considered a relatively clean fossil fuel. Therefore, it is considered a transition from traditional energy resources to green energy".
