EU to allocate additional funds to Moldova to fight energy crisis

The European Union (EU) will continue its support to Moldova by allocating additional funds to combat the energy crisis, said the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Report informs.
"EU's solidarity with Moldova is unshakeable. Today we increase our support in the face of the acute energy crisis caused by Russia. I am glad to announce that we will provide an additional: €200 million for your energy security; €50 million in budgetary support. And we will help mobilize other international donors," she tweeted.
