Money supply in Azerbaijan increases by 6.1%

The broad money supply (M3 aggregate) in Azerbaijan as of August 1 this year amounted to 47.6803 billion manats, which is 1.6% lower compared to the previous month, 2.55% higher compared to the beginning of the year, and 6.15% higher compared to the same period last year.
According to Report, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the money supply in manats (M2 aggregate) amounted to 36.6626 billion manats, which is 0.4% lower compared to the previous month, 0.3% higher compared to the beginning of the year, and 3.4% higher compared to the same period last year.
As of the reporting date, demand deposits (M1 aggregate) totaled 29.021 billion manats, which is 1.4% lower compared to the previous month, 2.1% lower compared to the beginning of the year, and 1.3% higher compared to the same period last year.
On August 1, the cash money supply outside banks (M0 aggregate) amounted to 16.6573 billion manats, which is 0.9% higher compared to the previous month, 5% higher compared to the beginning of the year, and 4.75% higher compared to the same period last year.
