British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper visits Kyiv

British Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper has arrived in Kyiv, Report informs.

"Today in the morning, together with Andriy Yermak, I was pleased to meet Yvette Cooper at the Kyiv train station on her first visit to Ukraine as UK Foreign Secretary.

I told Yvette that we greatly value her personal commitment and the UK"s unfaltering support.

We will discuss the whole range of bilateral and international issues on our agenda, including peace efforts, transatlantic pressure on Russia, and scaling up defense cooperation between Ukraine and the UK," Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said in a post on X.

Cooper is also expected to hold meetings with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

Yvette Cooper was appointed as the head of the British Foreign Office last week.
