"The free sale of antibiotics in pharmacies must be prevented in Azerbaijan," the World Health Organization (WHO) representative in Azerbaijan, Hande Harmanci, said at a virtual press conference dedicated to the World Antimicrobial Drug Awareness Week.
She said that instead of discouraging people from using antibiotics, free sales in drugstores should be restricted: "For this, the authorities must do certain work and enlighten people."
