Azerbaijan's envoy to NATO discusses cooperation prospects with US counterpart

Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to NATO, Jafar Huseynzada, met with the head of the US mission to the alliance, Matthew Whitaker.

Report informs, citing the post of the Azerbaijani NATO mission on X, that the parties discussed the Azerbaijan–NATO partnership, prospects for future cooperation, and the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

"We highly value the role of the US President Donald Trump in promoting peace and stability in the region and beyond," the post noted.
