Kazakh expert urges Asian nations to boost cooperation against risks

Asian countries must strengthen cooperation to counter geopolitical risks, Dauren Aben, Head of the International Security Department at the Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies under the President of Kazakhstan, said at the 13th session of the CICA (Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia) Think Tank Forum held in Baku, Report informs.
According to him, digitalization and green transformation play a major role in reshaping regional supply chains:
"Carbon-producing supply chains are also under scrutiny. In this context, the accurate transmission of data is crucial. Artificial intelligence can be of great help in this area."
Aben stressed that geopolitical risks cannot be overlooked:
"To address these risks, Asian nations must intensify cooperation and establish new corridors. This also serves as a strategic roadmap to enhance Asia"s influence in the global economy," he added.
