Today's conference coincides with a remarkable day, AFFA President Rovnag Abdullayev said, as quoted by Report.
He congratulated the people of Azerbaijan on February 2 - Youth Day.
Abdullayev said that the year 2021 proceeded as planned despite the pandemic. Abdullayev stressed the importance of EURO 2020, which held four of its matches in Baku.
"On behalf of the entire football community, I thank our state and President Ilham Aliyev for supporting us at all stages. This is a great success for our nation," he said.
