Azerbaijan exports peaches to Hong Kong, Romania and Latvia for first time

In January-July 2025, Azerbaijan exported 54,277 tons of peaches (including nectarines) worth $65.7 million, marking a year-on-year increase of 76% and 72%, respectively, Report informs, citing the country's State Statistical Committee.
During this period, Azerbaijan sold peaches to:
- Russia: 50,282 tons (+65%) worth $60.93 million (+61%);
- Ukraine: 2,327 tons worth $2.4 million (no supply a year ago);
- Belarus: 963 tons (+25 times) worth $1.72 million (+37 times);
- The United Arab Emirates: 180.4 tons (+86%) worth $245,000 (+83%);
- Kazakhstan: 246.2 tons (+47%) worth $165,400 (+65%).
In 2025, Azerbaijan exported peaches to Romania (35.46 tons worth $39,520), Latvia (19.2 tons worth $23,670) and Hong Kong (1.34 tons worth $11,810) for the first time in 14 years, based on publicly available foreign trade statistics dating back to 2011.
In 2024, 97% of the 56,404 tons of peaches exported from Azerbaijan went to Russia.
