Top Pakistani travel firms visit Azerbaijan to boost tourism ties

The Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, under the State Tourism Agency, has organized a familiarization trip for representatives of ten leading Pakistani travel companies, in cooperation with the Pakistan Travel Mart, Report informs, citing the agency.

During the visit, participants were introduced to a variety of tourism products showcasing Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage, natural beauty, and historical sites.

B2B meetings were also held with around 50 local companies to explore mutual cooperation and opportunities for tourism exchange.

Currently, direct flights operate between Azerbaijan and the Pakistani cities of Lahore and Islamabad. From January to July this year, over 46,000 Pakistani citizens visited Azerbaijan — a 16% increase compared to the same period last year.
