Georgia posts over 90% decrease in number of Azerbaijani travelers

In 2020, the number of international travelers visiting Georgia dropped 73.4% year-on-year, according to the March bulletin of the Georgian National Bank.
Report's local bureau informs that tourists made 91.7% of visitors, which is a drop of 64.4% over the previous year.
It was noted in the document that Georgia had seen a drop in the number of travelers from neighboring countries. The number of Azerbaijanis visiting Georgia fell by 90.3%, the number of Armenians decreased by 82.8%, and the number of Russians was down 85.7%.
