Azerbaijan's tourism opportunities promoted in CIS countries

From August 18 to 25, the Azerbaijan Tourism Bureau, operating under the State Tourism Agency, showcased the country’s tourism potential in a series of events held in Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Astana and Almaty (Kazakhstan), and Minsk (Belarus), Report informs, citing the agency.

The events brought together around 50 leading tourism companies from Uzbekistan, 70 from Kazakhstan, and 70 from Belarus, alongside 10 local representatives of Azerbaijan’s tourism sector, including Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL), hotels, and travel agencies.

Participants were introduced to Azerbaijan’s offerings in coastal tourism, mountain ski resorts, health and spa retreats, and cultural and gastronomic routes. Information was also shared about the upcoming international event — the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025.

Following the presentations, B2B meetings were held to explore opportunities for cooperation in tourism.
