Azerbaijan's model of multiculturalism and tolerance to be discussed in Germany

A delegation led by Ramin Mammadov, Chairman of Azerbaijan's State Committee on Affairs with Religious Associations, will visit Germany on June 24-26, the committee told Report.

The purpose of the visit is to inform the German public more widely about Azerbaijan's model of multiculturalism and tolerance, state policy aimed at promoting peaceful coexistence between different religious and ethnic groups, and to hold discussions on the possibilities of cooperation with religious organizations and political structures of Germany.

Within the framework of the visit, meetings are planned with German state officials and politicians. In addition, the delegation is planned to visit a number of religious and historical sites in Germany.

The delegation will also participate in the event "Unity in Diversity: Interfaith Voices in Dialogue" organized by the Cultural Center of Azerbaijan in Germany.
