Uzbekistan's COVID tally nears 80,000

The number of people infected with the novel coronavirus in Uzbekistan has reached 79,926, Report informs, citing the Uzbek Health Ministry.
To date, 98% of those infected with the virus have recovered.
Presently, 808 COVID-positive patients are being treated in Uzbek hospitals.
Earlier, Russia’s Sputnik V vaccine against COVID-19 was certified in Uzbekistan.
