US Ambassador: Yerevan and Baku need to sign and ratify peace agreement

The United States has begun implementing the agreements reached on August 8 in Washington, US Ambassador to Armenia Christine Quinn said during a discussion on "Armenia and the South Caucasus in a Changing World: Strengthening Democracy and Regional Security."
Report informs via Armenian media that she said Baku and Yerevan need to sign and ratify the peace agreement initialed in Washington.
"The sooner peace is concluded, the faster its benefits will be realized," Quinn said.
The American diplomat also touched on improving relations between Armenia and Türkiye, noting that further progress and normalization would bring significant benefits not only to both countries but to the entire region.
The United States and Armenia signed three documents in Washington. In addition, Azerbaijan and Armenia, with US participation, signed two documents.
