Nizami Ganjavi Center to host high-level meeting in New York

The Nizami Ganjavi International Center will hold its 34th High-Level Meeting in New York on September 23–26, alongside the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

According to Report, the event will be held under the theme "Multilateralism at a Crossroads: Challenges and Paths to Peace."

The meeting will gather current and former heads of state and government, as well as leaders of international organizations, to discuss global cooperation and the evolving challenges to multilateralism.

Recognized as one of the largest side events during the UNGA, the meeting is expected to bring together high-level representatives from over 50 countries, including more than 25 current and former presidents and over 10 prime ministers.

Key topics will include global equality, climate change, global health, technological transformation, and geopolitical shifts. Preparations for the World Urban Forum 2026 (WUF2026), which will be held in Baku, will also be among the central discussion points.
