Turkish Defense Minister: US should be cool-headed in F-16 issue

"Turkiye is doing what is necessary for regional and global peace," Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar told reporters at the closing ceremony of "Winter Exercises-2023" held in Kars, Report informs.
According to him, the issue of supplying F-16 fighters is advancing: "The US should be cool-headed. Giving us F-16s will also strengthen NATO because a strong Turkiye means a strong Alliance."
The minister recalled that Sweden and Finland must fulfill the provisions of the Madrid agreement for NATO membership.
