Russia records almost 180,000 new COVID cases per day

Russia has reported 179,284 new cases of coronavirus infection over the past day, a 1.23% increase in relative terms, Report informs referring to Russian media.
To date, a total of 342,383 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 748 deaths seen over the past day.
The total number of recoveries made 11,643,393 after 172,400 more people managed to cope with the disease over the last 24 hours, an increase of 25.1% from the day before.
Over 19,500 people have been hospitalized, a drop of 10.3% from the previous day.
