Azerbaijan and Serbia discuss strengthening strategic partnership

Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov met with Serbia's Minister of Internal and Foreign Trade, Jagoda Lazarević, as part of the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025).

According to Report, citing the Ministry of Economy, both sides emphasized that high-level mutual visits, meetings and events held, as well as signed documents, have contributed to elevating the relationship between Azerbaijan and Serbia to the level of strategic partnership.

It was also noted that there is significant potential for strengthening economic and trade cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the areas of mutual investments, energy, transportation, and others.

The parties discussed issues related to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries, diversifying economic cooperation, and promoting mutual trade, investment, and business ties. During the exchange of views, the importance of successfully implementing mutually beneficial economic projects was emphasized.
