US called on Russia to "leave" Crimea to return to G7

The US Special Representative for Ukraine, Kurt Walker, in an interview with the Direct television channel, said that the resumption of Russia's participation in the G8 format would be possible if it “left” the Crimea.
Report informs referring to Russian media that his interview with the Ukrainian television channel Pryamiy is posted on Youtube.
“In 2014, Russia was expelled from the G8 due to the annexation of Crimea. I would like to see how it all comes back. I would like to see Russia leave the Crimea, and this would create excellent opportunities for the resumption of cooperation, ” said the US Special Representative.
