Montenegrin president proposes to close country due to COVID

Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic has come up with an initiative to immediately close the country's borders due to the coronavirus and speed up its vaccination.
Report informs with reference to TASS that the president made such a statement in his televised speech.
"More than 1,000 citizens of Montenegro have died from COVID-19 in 11 months. The number of cases and deaths requires the immediate introduction and effective implementation of epidemiological measures, including a ban on entry into the country without a PCR test and accelerating the immunization process. The health of our citizens is in grave danger," Djukanovic said.
The country of over 600,000 has recorded over 74,000 cases of coronavirus infection.
