"Armenia could not assess the reality of the balance change in the region and the strengthening of Azerbaijan," foreign relations expert Tornike Sharashenidze said in an interview with Imedi TV.
According to Report's Georgian bureau, he said that Azerbaijan made a turning point in the war by using UAVs and new technologies during military operations: "All military ammunition and equipment in Armenia is Russian produced and was completely weak in the face of Azerbaijani anti-aircraft missiles. When the Azerbaijani Army reached a decisive moment, Russia decided to intervene."
Sharashenidze noted that Azerbaijan is an attractive partner for Russia, and Turkey is becoming more active in the region.
