Baku hosts Strategic Communications course

The course titled "Military Public Affairs and Strategic Communications in NATO (STRATCOM)" was held in Baku under the organization of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense and NATO Joint Force Command Brunssum Mobile Training Team, with the support of the Media Development Agency.

The Ministry of Defense told Report that the course hosted by the Media and Public Affairs Department of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Defense brought together personnel from various departments and military units of the Ministry, as well as representatives from other government agencies.

As part of the program, participants were given a presentation on the Communication Strategy of Azerbaijan Defense Ministry.

Throughout the course, participants engaged with subject-matter experts through presentations on a range of relevant topics. The sessions included interactive discussions and opportunities for mutual exchange of ideas and experiences in the field of strategic communication. The guests were introduced to the Ministry's publishing, multimedia and editorial activities.

The primary objective of the course is to deliver the critical role of strategic communication, enhance coordination in information operations, and develop the capabilities of participants to design and implement effective communication plans within operational environments. Additionally, the course aimed to demonstrate the importance of a unified approach among allied countries and organizations, while increasing preparedness for information struggle during armed conflicts.

In conclusion, certificates of completion were presented to the participants.
