Nearly 200 private houses to be built in Tazabina village of Khojaly by end of year

By the end of 2025, construction and restoration of 197 private houses are expected to be completed in the village of Tazabina in the Khojaly district, Afat Telmangyzy, head of the Public Relations Department of the Service for Construction, Restoration, and Management in the cities of Khankandi, Aghdara, and Khojaly, told Report's correspondent.

According to her, the renovation and restoration of an additional 159 houses are planned for next year.

She recalled that on July 14, 28 families (a total of 125 people) returned to the village.

Currently, essential work is being carried out to create modern social infrastructure in the village. A 15.5 km-long 10-kilovolt power line has been repaired and restored, the installation of electricity meters has begun, and an 11.4 km-long gas pipeline has been laid. An artesian well, a 400-cubic-meter reservoir, and the village water supply network have been repaired. A 16 km-long communication line has been installed, and subscribers are now provided with landline telephone services, internet, and IPTV.

Tazabina village is part of the administrative district of the same name within the Khojaly region. It was occupied by Armenian armed forces in 1992 and was liberated in September 2023 during anti-terrorist operations conducted by the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.

On July 18, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev reviewed the progress of house and infrastructure restoration work in the village.
