Fariz Jafarov: Industry 4.0 Center to operate on single window principle

The planned "Industry 4.0" innovation center in Azerbaijan will operate on a single window principle, Fariz Jafarov, executive director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the 4th Industrial Revolution (4SIM), said at the 1st Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2025) in Baku, Report informs.

He stated that the center will enable specialists to exchange knowledge and experience: "We are leveraging international knowledge and experience. To this end, we have signed agreements with major foreign companies."

According to Jafarov, the center assesses companies' readiness to transition to the smart industry, which is particularly relevant in the context of global challenges.

"By 2030, a shortage of skilled workers could leave approximately 85 million jobs vacant globally, resulting in economic losses of approximately $8.5 trillion. Given these challenges and opportunities, we believe the Industry 4.0 approach offers significant opportunities for Azerbaijani companies. That's why we launched this program," he added.
