Azerbaijan wins next medal in Islamic Solidarity Games

Azerbaijani athlete Alexis Copello won a silver medal at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkiye.
Report informs that the 37-year-old triple jumper climbed to the second degree of the podium.
Nazim Babayev tied for 5th place.
This was the 3rd medal won by Azerbaijan in Islamic Solidarity Games. Earlier, Hanna Skydan won a gold medal in fencing, and Taekwondo player Hashim Mahammadov won a bronze medal.
