Fire in Sadarak shopping center in Baku localized

Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations has prevented the spread of fire and localized it in the Sadarak shopping center in the Garadagh district of Baku, Report informs.

Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Major General Adil Abdullayev is currently at the scene.

Measures to extinguish the fire are ongoing.

The units of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) continue to fight the fire in the Sadarak shopping center in the Garadagh district of Baku, Report informs.

"Currently, necessary and urgent measures are being taken to extinguish the fire, as well as prevent the spread of fire to nearby facilities," the MES noted.

The 112 hotline of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations has received information about a fire in the Sadarak shopping center, located in the Garadagh district of Baku, the ministry told Report.

The forces of the State Fire Service and the Special Risk Rescue Service were promptly sent to the scene.

Firefighting is currently ongoing.

Police officers have been sent to the scene.

Police officers are guarding the area and taking the necessary safety measures during the firefighting.
