Azerbaijan to build modern children's hospital in Bishkek

Azerbaijan will build a children's hospital in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Chief of Staff of the President of Kyrgyzstan, Kanybek Tumanbayev said, according to Report.

He said, as cited by Kyrgyz media, that the decision to construct the hospital was made during negotiations between the presidents of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.

Initially, the construction was planned for the Issyk-Kul region; however, following President Sadyr Japarov's official visit to Azerbaijan, it was decided to build the medical facility in Bishkek instead.

Preparatory work is currently underway. The new hospital is expected to be a fully equipped modern healthcare institution.

Tumanbayev added that the hospital will be a gift from Azerbaijan to Kyrgyzstan.
