Yalchin Rafiyev: Azerbaijan's chairmanship in NAM among most fruitful stages in foreign policy

Azerbaijan's chairmanship of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) has become one of the most fruitful and memorable stages in the country's foreign policy, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev said at a meeting with members of the Youth Organization of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), Report informs.

He noted that the period of chairmanship allowed Azerbaijan to make a significant contribution to strengthening the role of NAM in the international arena and promoting its principles.

Rafiev emphasized that despite the completion of the official term of the chairmanship, Azerbaijan continues to actively participate in the activities of the organization, being part of the "troika of chairmen."

"For our country, this was a truly unique and unforgettable experience. Even today, when we are part of the "troika", we are sincerely pleased to continue to support the initiatives put forward during the chairmanship and promote ideas that find a wide response among the participating states," the deputy minister noted.
