Jeddah hosts emergency OIC Foreign Ministers’ meeting on Israel and Palestine

The 21st emergency meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), initiated by Türkiye, was held in Jeddah.
According to Report, citing the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev.
Earlier on Friday, it became known that Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had convened the extraordinary OIC meeting. The reason was Israel’s approval of a new plan regarding Gaza.
