Final preparations underway for historic meeting to be held at White House

Hours remain until the meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian leaders in Washington, Report informs.

High-level security measures have been implemented around the White House.

US President Donald Trump will first hold a bilateral meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the Oval Office. Later, a document signing ceremony is planned between Trump and Pashinyan.

After that, Trump will hold a bilateral meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in the Oval Office. At the end of the meeting, a document signing between Trump and Ilham Aliyev is also planned.

Following the bilateral meetings, a trilateral signing ceremony will take place between Trump, Ilham Aliyev, and Pashinyan.

According to the State Department's schedule, Secretary of State Marco Rubio will participate in both the trilateral meeting and the signing ceremony.

A press conference for journalists is expected in the Oval Office at the end of the meeting.
