Erdoğan approves agreement on defense cooperation with Azerbaijan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has approved the "Agreement between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Government of Turkey on cooperation in the field of the defense industry."
According to Report, the head of state inked a law in this regard.
The law comes into force from the date of signing.
The agreement was signed during Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to Azerbaijan on October 31, 2017. The sixth meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council took place at that time. After the meeting, the documents were signed by Azerbaijani Defense Minister Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and then Turkish National Defense Minister Nurettin Canikli.
