Marseille eyes late loan move with buy option for Real Madrid midfielder

French side Marseille have joined the race to sign Dani Ceballos in the final week of the transfer market, according to Fabrizio Romano, Report informs.

Romano adds that initial talks between Marseille and Real Madrid have taken place, with the French club keen on signing the midfielder on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy.

However, negotiations won’t be easy for Marseille, as Real Madrid is not too keen on offloading Ceballos on a cheap valuation.

Dani Ceballos has a contract with the Madrid club until the summer of 2027. He played 45 games for the team in the 2024/2025 season, providing two assists.
