Non-cash payments in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan rise by 53%

In April 2025, the volume of non-cash payments in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan amounted to 119.731 million manats (just under $70.42 million), Report informs, citing Nakhchivan Office of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to the data, this is 52.5% more compared to the same period in 2024.
During the month, the number of payment cards in Nakhchivan increased by 0.6% to 304,595.
As of May 1, there were 2,990 POS terminals, 97 ATMs, and 364 payment terminals in the autonomous republic, which is 40.6% more, 25.4% less, and 30% more, respectively, compared to the same period of the previous year.
