Gazprom's petrochemical complex in Bashkortostan hit by mass drone attack

The Salavat petrochemical complex (Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat) in Bashkortostan, a republic of the Russian Federation, has come under a mass drone attack, regional governor Radiy Khabirov announced, Report informs via Russian media outlets.
Khabirov stated that the main facilities in the Salavat industrial zone were not damaged: "The most important thing is that there are no casualties. There were several fire outbreaks, almost all of which have been extinguished. The main facilities were not harmed, though some damage occurred at the estacades supplying resources."
Authorities indicated that the plant is expected to return to its normal operating regime within a few days.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on social media that, in addition to the Bashkortostan complex, Ukrainian forces also struck the Afipsk oil refinery located about 400 kilometers from the front line.
"In Gelendzhik, a patrol boat and a tanker of the shadow fleet were hit. This was a successful operation by the Ukrainian Navy about 430 kilometers from the front line. Three tankers of the shadow fleet in the Sea of Azov were also successfully targeted," he added.
