EBRD updates its investment portfolio for Azerbaijan

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has, so far, invested 3.856 billion euros in 184 projects in Azerbaijan.
Report informs, citing the Bank, that as of September 23 of this year, the number of projects financed by the EBRD in Azerbaijan increased by 1, and the investment portfolio increased by 88 million euros, compared to the indicators announced by the Bank.
The share of the private sector in the EBRD's investment portfolio for Azerbaijan is 13%.
Currently, EBRD has 32 active projects (1 project more) in its portfolio for Azerbaijan. The portfolio for these projects was 913 million euros (+29 million euros), operational assets were 818 million euros (+19 million euros), and cumulative payments were 3.331 billion euros (+71 million euros).
Based on the revised portfolio, infrastructure projects were responsible for 90% or 822 million euros (+29 million euros) of infrastructure projects, industry, trade, and business accounted for 6% or 59 million euros (-1 million euros), and financial institutions made 4% or 32 million euros (+1 million euros).
EBRD's investment in Azerbaijan made up 1% of the total portfolio.
Azerbaijan has been a member of the EBRD since 1992.
