Azerbaijan's insurance sector collects 1.5B manats in premiums

In 2025, just over 1.505 billion manats (almost $885 million) of insurance premiums were collected in Azerbaijan, marking a 11.2% increase year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, payments from insurance companies rose by 22.3% to just over 920.4 million manats ($541.4 million).
Thus, in 2025, 61.2 manats ($36) of insurance premiums were returned to customers for every 100 manats ($58.82) collected in the insurance market. This figure was 55,6 manats ($32,7) in the same period of 2024.
