EU and Ukraine sign deal on Kyiv's participation in defense programs

The European Commission signed an agreement with Ukraine to join two defense industry programs, European Commissioner for Defence and Space Andrius Kubilius said on X, Report informs.

"Joint defence projects are helping speedy integration of Ukraine into the EU. With Mykhailo Fedorov [Ukraine's Defense Minister], we signed agreements to associateUkraine with two key EU defence industry programs - EDF & EDIP/USI. Ukraine is becoming part of our EU policies & instruments. Integration in progress!" Kubilius said.
