Turkiye expresses readiness for cooperation within South Gas Corridor

Turkiye is ready for cooperation within the South Gas Corridor project, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Fatih Donmez, said at the WindEnergy Hamburg conference held in Germany, Report informs with reference to Haber Turk.
According to him, Turkiye, as a reliable and strategic partner, is ready for constructive and mutually beneficial cooperation in Europe's energy security.
The Southern Gas Corridor (SGC) is a giant project that transports natural gas produced within the 2nd stage of the Shah Deniz gas condensate field to Turkiye and Europe through the Expansion of the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCPX), TANAP, TAP. Azerbaijani gas supplies to European consumers via TAP began on December 31, 2020.
