Serbia welcomes political decisions that lead to the cessation of armed conflicts, de-escalation, dialogue and lasting peace, as well as the continuation of discussions and cooperation.
Report informs that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said this during a phone call with his Iranian counterpart Masoud Pezeshkian.
Following the call, Vucic said he had a good and open discussion with Pezeshkian, and stated that Serbia welcomed courageous political decisions aimed at ending armed conflicts, reducing tensions, promoting dialogue and lasting peace, and continuing talks and cooperation.
He noted the importance of restoring the affected areas and prioritizing political, social and economic development.
"Serbia will continue to support any responsible effort toward a fairer, safer and more peaceful world, believing that lasting solutions are built through dialogue, mutual respect and compromise," Vucic said.
Pezeshkian, for his part, said Israel's policies caused the instability in the region.
He said that, the United States and Israel failed to achieve their goals.
