Georgia increases imports of gas and oil products from Azerbaijan

In the first quarter of 2021, Georgia imported 685,000 cubic meters of natural gas from Azerbaijan for $76.7 million, Report informs, citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia (GeoStat).
The volume of the import is 2.6% more than in the same period last year.
From January through March, the Caucasus country also imported 43,000 tons of petroleum and oils from Azerbaijan for $20.1 million, which is 1.8 times more than a year earlier.
