Azerbaijan exports over 1.2M tons of crude oil to Czechia

From January to August this year, Azerbaijan exported 1.22 million tons of crude oil worth $653.38 million to Czechia, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.

Compared to the same eight-month period in 2024, the volume of exports increased by 4.5%, while the value dropped by 11.5%.

Crude oil exports to Czechia accounted for 7.65% of Azerbaijan's total crude oil exports during the reporting period.

In total, Azerbaijan exported 15.92 million tons of crude oil and oil products derived from bituminous materials in the first eight months of the year. The total value of these exports reached $8.4 billion.

During the same period, Azerbaijan conducted foreign trade operations worth $32.12 billion, with exports accounting for $17.07 billion and imports for $15.05 billion.
