Enterprise Azerbaijan and Licorne Gulf Qatar sign cooperation MoU

The Enterprise Azerbaijan portal, operated by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the company Licorne Gulf Qatar.

According to Report, the document was signed by Isa Gasimov, head of the portal, and Irina Duisimbekova, president and co-founder of Licorne Gulf Qatar.

The MoU outlines cooperation in several areas, including supporting startups' access to international investment, implementing green technologies and digital solutions, developing innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystems, and expanding opportunities for strategic partnerships through joint initiatives.

Enterprise Azerbaijan was established by a decree of President Ilham Aliyev on September 19, 2018. Its primary goal is to enhance the country's investment appeal and promote alternative sources of financing for economic development.

Licorne Gulf Qatar is part of Licorne Gulf Holding, which has operated for 27 years in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar under the leadership of Irina Duisimbekova and Alexander Katrangi. The company is known for its substantial financial contributions to European football and investments in industrial projects across the Gulf region.

These ventures are carried out in partnership with CAC40 and Fortune 500 companies. The holding has strong ties with royal families and prominent family-run businesses, enabling large-scale operations through complex networks and strategic alliances. One of its latest major initiatives is the establishment of the Choiseul Arabian Gulf joint venture in Qatar, in collaboration with the Institut Choiseul.
