Closing ceremony of 2nd International Youth Forum held in Baku

The closing ceremony of the 2nd International Youth Forum for Multiculturalism and Peace, titled "Youth as Peacebuilding Ambassadors in a Multicultural Environment", was held in Baku, Report informs.

The event was organized by the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism in collaboration with ICESCO.

According to the center’s Executive Director Ravan Hasanov, holding the forum in Baku, Shusha, and Khankendi symbolizes the importance of reviving coexistence and strengthening peace. Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov highlighted the role of youth for the state, while ICESCO representatives emphasized the importance of cultural dialogue.

The forum gathered around 70 participants from over 50 countries. They visited historical sites in Baku and other regions of Azerbaijan, and took part in thematic discussions and workshops.
