Azerbaijan resumes duck meat imports from Brazil

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan imported 43.4 tons of duck meat worth $213,000, marking a year-on-year increase of 61% and 85%, respectively, Report informs, citing the country’s the State Statistical Committee.
During this period, Azerbaijan purchased duck meat from:
- Brazil: 24 tons worth $110,800;
- Russia: 14.6 tons (-21%) worth $60,000 (-30%);
- France: 1.7 tons worth $26,300 (no supply a year ago);
- Hungary: 2 tons (+25 times) worth $8,800 (+4.4 times);
- Thailand: 1 ton worth $6,200 (no supply a year ago).
Azerbaijan has resumed the supply of duck meat from Brazil after a pause of 1 year and 10 months.
