Azerbaijani manat's nominal, real effective exchange rates down in July

As of August 1, 2025, the nominal effective exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat against foreign currencies was 101.8 points, Report informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
This was 0.8 points lower month-on-month, 7.4 points less than the beginning of the year, and 2.3 points less than August 1, 2024.
Additionally, the real effective exchange rate of the manat stood at 113.8 points as of August 1, 2025. This marked a decrease of 1.5 points compared to the previous month, an 11.3-point decline compared to early 2025, and a 5.6-point drop year-on-year.
