Baku, Astana agree on forms of veterinary certificates for export of fish, honey and bee products

Baku and Astana have agreed on the form of veterinary certificates for the export of fish and fish products, as well as honey and other bee products from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.

The agreement was reached in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine. The certificates were developed and agreed upon during official negotiations between the competent veterinary services of the two countries.

"This step was the result of joint work to ensure the veterinary and sanitary safety of products of animal origin and indicates a high level of trust and interaction between the states. The harmonization of the forms of veterinary certificates opens up new opportunities for Kazakhstani producers, allowing them to enter the promising market of Azerbaijan," the ministry said in a statement.
